How to write an email to your customers - Alec Stern

We went to 'WorkInProgress', which is a co-working space in Las Vegas, and met Alec Stern, founding member of emailing service called 'Constant Contact' and heard his lectures about how to write an email to your customers.

Notes from the lecture:-There should be a company name on email not gmail or hotmail.
-Try to measure the return rate of emails in a long period.
-See whether your customer are interested to your email on Monday or Friday or Weekend.
-Do not write 'company name_news letter_2015_vol3' kind of title but something enticing.
-Use 50~80 letters for email
-Do not over load your customer's email(same as follow up call). Send in minimum 3 week term.

I emailed Alec if I can get more details about his lecture so I could share with others and the below link is his reply.
