We have visited Zappos in Las Vegas. It was the most revolutionary company that I have ever seen: They do not have managers. They decorate all their own cubicals. All employees have to go through the customer call center at least a year. I heard one of the employees talked with the customer on the phone more than 10 hours. Employees can send flowers, cakes and present to the customers for company's charge. They are also making social impact by drawing murals in the Harlem area of Las Vegas to bring that area's aliveness. Zappos was acquired by Amazon. It is surely a company that everyone should study.
It used to be a 'county jail' but now it is the headquarter office of Zappos!
Their company belief!
Ryo, our tour guide who worked in Zappos for 5 years already! He is really funny and a nice guy! During the time I was really able get close with him personally. That was his skill.
Founder of Zappos, Tony Hsieh's desk and his books
Thank you
